Job Overview:

We are looking for a hardworking and driven individual to lead our M&A Integrations team. This individual will come with deep experience combining different types of acquisitions and have successfully owned and executed multiple integrations. You are detail-oriented, strategic, and able to build positive relationships across the organization. As a Director, you will be a valued subject matter expert to internal leaders who will work cross-functionally to integrate acquired practices with minimal disruption to their day-to-day operation.

  • Track and deeply understand the status of all potential and active partnerships
  • Build integration plans, playbooks, and standard methodologies
  • Highlight integration risks to leadership
  • Effectively problem solve if and when issues/challenges related to integrations arise
  • Develop measurable KPIs, and track/report on integration status to senior leadership and Board of Directors, as well as key learnings for future M&A activity

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create detailed and comprehensive integration plans (in collaboration with workstream leads), including timelines, milestones, and resources.
  • Collaborate with functional workstream leads to create and maintain integration checklists and activities across all deals, and hold leads accountable for plan deliverables
  • Manage overall execution of the integration plan and key milestones from Day 1 to completion of all integration activities
  • Execute based on the implantation plan, monitor and report on progress
  • Ensure effective communication and escalation of risks and issues within the established project governance
  • Work collaboratively with Corporate Development and Legal teams to plug into the diligence workstreams and efficiently gather data required for integration from vending dentists, with a view to minimize disruption at the practices
  • Implement integration and onboarding best practices in the organization and assess / implement automation as required
  • Stakeholder engagement to ensure the appropriate inputs and validation including key decisions
  • Participate in Corporate Development weekly meetings, Weekly Status Reporting
  • Identify risks and issues and facilitate resolution
  • Other duties as assigned by your Vice President of Corporate Development from time to time

Education, Credentials, Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in corporate development, consulting, people, finance, and/or program management roles
  • Proven track record of leading sophisticated M&A integrations within a high growth environment
  • Experience in retail, health care is an asset
  • Experience working with a diverse group of users
  • Experience in navigating change in a large corporate environment
  • Excellent presentation skills and comfortable speaking in client/project meetings
  • Research, organize and implement effective project management strategies
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
